Sexuality Education
What is sex education?
A sex educator provides information on a wide range of topics related to sexual health, relationships and personal well-being. This includes promoting healthy attitudes, reducing stigma and equipping people with the knowledge and skills to make informed choices regarding their sexual lives. Sex educators work across diverse settings, such as schools, universities, community centers and online platforms. Sex education can happen in groups or in private consultation. Sex education topics include:
- Human development, including puberty, anatomy, sexual orientation, and gender identity
- Relationships, including self, family, friendships, romantic relationships, and health care providers
- Personal skills, including communication, boundary setting, negotiation, and decision-making
- Sexual behavior, including the full spectrum of ways people choose to be, or not be, sexual beings
- Sexual function, including arousal, desire and orgasm
- Sexual health, including sexually transmitted infections, birth control, pregnancy, and abortion
- Society and culture, including media literacy, shame and stigma, and how power, identity, and oppression impact sexual wellness and reproductive freedom
We provide private consultations for sex education!
These are private sessions covering the sex education you didn’t get over the years and includes these elements:
- Personalized sexuality information and education
- Redirecting cognitive processes and mental reframing
- Behavioral training
- Resources and referrals
- Product consultation
Sex education involves all of these parts of you:
- Mind. Information. Your “self-talk,” thinking about sexual performance, capacity for fantasy, and troubling thought patterns.
- Emotions. Feelings. Feelings that you carry from the past, about your body and body image, what you suppress and express, how you express your emotions, and your capacity for intimacy.
- Body and body image issues. Your physical self. Knowing how your own sexual pattern works, understanding your own body’s sexual architecture and function, acknowledging your own sexual functions and learning skills for how to be a successful lover alone or with a partner/s.
How do I know if private sex education is for me?
- You want to enhance your personal sexual wellbeing.
- You want to develop a better relationship with your own sexuality.
- You want to reduce frustration or worry about sex.
- You want to remove obstacles that stand between you and great sex.
What are my responsibilities as a sex educator:
- To guide, direct, and create a brave space for you
- To empower you to attain the dreams you desire
- To empower you to overcome any sexual difficulties you may have or fear you have
- To help you reach your sexual/relationship goals and together find results that satisfy you
What are your responsibilities as a client:
- To be authentic and truthful
What are the fees?
Private sex education consultation is available for $50/50-minute session. Payment is expected at the conclusion of each session by check, cash, credit card or paypal. If finances are a problem for you, an income eligible sliding fee scale is available. For virtual sessions, payment is required via credit card or by check in advance
How do sessions work?
Most sessions are conducted in person. Some are conducted virtually which can be highly effective. Most sessions are about 50-60 minutes in length. Sessions may be scheduled for once a week, or less or more frequently depending on your schedule, my availability, and your needs.
What about missing or changing appointments?
There is a 24-hour-advance cancellation policy. If you fail to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, a 50% charge will be asked of you for the missed appointment. Of course, in the case of extraordinary circumstances, there is no charge for the missed appointment. In some instances, I may need to move appointments due to illness, or events. In those situations, I will do my best to give a 24-hours notice as well.
What can you expect?
I am an educator. That means that if you schedule a session, we will meet and talk for 45-50 minutes. There will be no touching, no removal of clothing, and no sexual play of any kind. Sessions may include educational activities, worksheets and home assignments. This type of work can be transformational for your whole life, not just your sexuality. Knowledge is power and you will grow, learn, and become a more empowered person. Thank you so much for choosing me as your sex educator. It is always my honor and privilege to do this work. I am thrilled that we are going down this path together,

- Helping Students with Sexuality IssuesAre you finding that college students are struggling with sexuality?
College is a time of self-discovery and with the currents state of Sex Ed in our country, you most likely are seeing the impact of this in your students: sexual trauma,
miscommunication, confusion on how to establish limits and boundaries. Some students may not even know where to start when trying to access pleasure on their own or in partnered sex. Additionally, students may be encountering difficulties with desire, arousal, orgasm, or sexual pain without knowing where to turn for help. Our sexuality education program can help you and your staff establish a plan for supporting students.
Programming for Students
Embody
Embody is a body appreciation skills group that can be a supplement to peer education or RA training, a new college club or a group of its own through the health center. Students learn evidence-based strategies that they can use regularly to help develop a more peaceful relationship with their body.
Group
The full curriculum is 8, 60-minute sessions where students will talk about how to establish themselves as the ultimate expert of their body, get back in tune with their intuition, learn to treat themselves more kindly, and find a body-positive community of other students that can support them.
Yoga Group
As a certified yoga teacher, Jenna can add an accessible yoga practice to each Embody session. These would be 75 minute yoga sessions with props.
5 Competencies of Embodiment
This is a one, 75-minute session that covers the five core life skills that promote a healthy, confident relationship to the body. When students become proficient at using these skills, they are better to care for themselves in body, mind and spirit from a place of self-love and appreciation.
Consent Workshop
This 2 hour training covers the basics of consent, boundaries, and relationship safety with guided group discussions, written reflections, and interactive activities.
Students will be able to:
· define and use consent-related terminology,
· identify the different components of consent,
· understand the significance of and how to set boundaries,
· detect and respond to different types of relational abuse.
Sex In The Dark
Sex in the Dark (SITD) is a unique Q&A panel that brings together sexual health experts—sexperts—from a variety of public health-related disciplines to answer students’ anonymous questions about sexual health and relationships. The mission of this program is to provide students with a safe, interactive, and informed space to explore their most intimate questions. Students submit anonymous questions prior to the panel discussion. As the name infers, SITD takes place with the lights off to foster a sense of anonymity during the Q&A. To provide additional resources to students, a small resource fair could be organized to feature campus and community organizations that support sexual well-being.
