Biography
Alissa’s practice is fueled by a holistic approach to help clients explore the many facets of their story. She uses a Narrative Approach to explore your story from your point of view. Alissa recently earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Rochester. She employs a combination of theoretical frameworks and techniques to tailor treatment to each client’s unique goals. Alissa has worked with a diverse population of clients experiencing a wide range of clinical concerns. She is LGBTQIA+ and kink affirming, as well as knowledgeable about the polyamory and consensual non-monogamy culture. She enjoys working with individuals and any constellation of relationships collaboratively.
She is currently working towards licensure in the state of New York under a Limited Permit as well as her AASECT certification in sex therapy with supervision from Dan Rosen, LCSW-R, CST, CSTS.
