Biography
Mr. Kelly is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R). He is a Diplomate in Sex Therapy and Certified Supervisor with the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). He has served as a Board Member for AASECT, the Board President of the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley and as a Board Member for NYS ATSA. His career includes work in residential treatment, and director of different outpatient and inpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment centers. His practice includes the treatment of sexual functioning problems, addressing sexual behavior issues/ sexual compulsions, supporting persons in the process of gender transition, and sexual identity integration. He has been adjunct faculty and lecturer for numerous universities on topics associated with human sexuality. Mr. Kelly has been and is a consultant to numerous agencies and clinics over the past 30+ years of issues of sex and sexuality. Mr. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from the Rochester Institute of Technology, an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University, and in 2003-2004 he completed a LEAH Fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in the Department of Pediatrics.
